The position is in the corporate office of Flytxt at Trivandrum.

Reporting To:

Will report to the QA Manager of Flytxt Technology Pvt. Ltd.

Reportees:

Junior QA Engineers may be identified as necessary to achieve the department’s objectives

Responsibilities:

The Non functional QA Engineer will be accountable for the following but not limited to:

  1. Analyze non-functional requirements (NFR) and develop test plan
  2. Execute test cases and analyze the results
  3. Generate automated test reports
  4. Coordination and execution of multiple performance tests on an ongoing basis to validate changes (HW and Code) that are not responsible for degradation of performance
  5. Work with Product Management and Development team to derive test requirements

Qualification & Experience:

Essential:

  1. Must have 2+ years of experience in various performance testing tools like Jmeter, Jprofiler, Load Runner etc.
  2. Educational Qualification: BE/ BTech /MCA/ Msc Computers
  3. Experience in Telecom Domain especially in Billing and IN related projects, IP Exchange projects or TADIG testing mainly. Experience in interoperability process definition and adherence, interoperability test planning and test execution
  4. Must have experience in web technologies (Application Server, Web Servers etc)
  5. Experience in doing various performance testing like Load/Volume testing, Stress testing, Database testing, interoperability testing etc.
  6. Experience in scripting languages like shell scripting, Perl etc.
  7. Knowledge of Database concepts, SQL queries and PLSQL.
  8. Prior experience in analyzing and reporting on performance metrics and test results
  9. Strong analytical, problem solving skills
  10. Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  11. Highly self-motivated and able to perform under aggressive timelines
  12. Prior relevant technical experience in performance engineering and analysis in a multi-tiered web based environment especially on mission critical applications.
  13. Continuous learning of theoretical knowledge in software testing and apply that in the job

Preferable:
  1. Knowledge of Networking Concepts
  2. Knowledge of Unix commands
  3. Knowledge of JMS concepts

Compensation:
